SketchFlow allows teams to snap photos of storyboard sketches or upload scanned pages. The system detects screens, flow arrows, and annotations to produce interactive prototypes that can be played back on devices. Designers can refine element mapping and export flows to popular prototyping apps.
The seed round of $5 million was led by Early Stage Partners and included angel investors from top UX studios. Muse Labs says the funding will help improve recognition accuracy and add voice and gesture input for storyboarding live sessions.
Muse Labs positions SketchFlow as a way to capture early-stage ideas faster and democratize prototyping for non-designers. The product is available as a web app with a free tier for students and a paid plan for teams that need versioning and collaboration features.
