Myriad Robotics secures $70M to ship CompanionBot, a co-robot for studios and game dev teams

CompanionBot is designed to autonomously ferry components, props, and small equipment across studio floors while interfacing with asset-tracking systems. It provides collision-free navigation, secure compartments for sensitive materials, and APIs to schedule tasks from studio resource planners.

The $70 million financing round, led by Industrial Ventures, will fund manufacturing scale-up, expanded fleet management software, and partnerships with studio services providers. Myriad also plans to pilot CompanionBot in post-production facilities and large game studios to reduce inefficiencies.

Studio operations teams reported reduced time spent locating props and lower overhead in moving materials between departments. Myriad highlighted the robot’s safety features and easy integration with existing studio tooling as key advantages for adoption.
