Nebula AR debuts lightweight SDK for spatial UI and lands $16M seed round

Nebula AR announced a lightweight SDK that provides high-level spatial UI primitives—panels, anchors, glances and persistent content—designed for consumer AR experiences on mobile and glasses. The company emphasizes predictable behavior across devices and ergonomic defaults informed by human factors research.

The SDK includes a design system with layout rules for depth, occlusion handling, and temporal persistence policies so designers can prototype spatial interactions without deep engine knowledge. Nebula AR also shared best-practice templates for onboarding, glancing interactions and privacy-preserving gaze models.

To accelerate adoption, Nebula closed $16 million in seed funding from XR-focused VCs and hardware partners. The company plans to work with platform owners to standardize primitives and publish UX pattern libraries for spatial apps.
