Nebula Games positions itself as a next-generation publisher for indie studios creating cloud-native experiences. The platform offers runtime remixing, live layer injection, and creator revenue sharing to encourage community-driven content.
With the $28 million raise, Nebula will expand its studio incubator and build cloud-hosted tooling that allows creators to inject content and live-events into running game sessions without full redeploys. The platform emphasizes robust moderation and anti-cheat controls to safeguard competitive play.
Investors included Makers Fund and Benchmark, attracted to Nebula’s model that blends publisher support with infrastructure-as-a-service for creators. The funding will seed new partnerships with middleware and cloud providers to reduce operational friction for small studios.
Studios using Nebula reported faster iteration cycles and new revenue channels through creator remixes and curated seasonal events. Nebula plans to onboard ten more indie teams this year with co-marketing and live ops support.
