The NL-Q1 integrates lattice-based post-quantum algorithms with hardware acceleration for TLS, encrypted databases, and secure key storage. Nebula Labs claims NL-Q1 delivers 3–5x throughput improvements over software PQC implementations while maintaining FIPS-equivalent protections.
The Series D was led by Strategic Systems Capital and included cloud infrastructure partners planning appliance integrations. Funds will scale fab capacity, certification for government and finance, and develop SDKs for major languages and hypervisors.
CEO Mari Albrecht said the market demand is urgent as organizations prepare for cryptographic migration ahead of quantum risk timelines. Early adopters include a consortium of European banks and a hyperscaler piloting NL-Q1 in controlled environments for database encryption.
