Nebula Play raises $35M to expand its live cloud-gaming backend

Nebula Play, a cloud gaming infrastructure provider, announced a $35 million Series B to grow its edge locations and developer tooling. The company’s SDK wraps native engines and exposes latency-tuning knobs, session handoff and high-fidelity input capture.

The new funding will be used to expand the provider’s partnership program with telcos and colo operators, accelerating regional deployments to reduce last-mile lag. Nebula Play also plans to invest in predictive scaling capabilities to smooth concurrent player spikes.

Studio partners praised the integration speed — studios can add streaming support in weeks rather than months — and said the SDK’s telemetry helps tune responsiveness for competitive genres. Nebula Play expects broader commercial launches with mid-size publishers by year-end.
