Nebula Systems raised $120 million to accelerate development of its real-time AR prototyping platform, which enables designers to author, test, and iterate spatial interfaces in multi-user sessions. The platform offers a browser-based editor, device-agnostic playback, and a cloud render pipeline for high-fidelity visuals on mobile AR devices.
The funding will be used to expand device compatibility, build native SDKs for headset OEMs, and launch an enterprise workflow for stakeholder reviews. Nebula plans to add features such as multi-user live annotations, performance profiling tools, and an asset marketplace curated for spatial design needs.
Design teams experimenting with store layouts, industrial AR workflows, or mixed-reality product demos could use Nebula to shorten the feedback loop between designers, engineers, and field teams. Nebula is also forming partnerships with manufacturing and training firms to create vertical templates for faster adoption.
