NebulaAI launches Nebula Studio and closes $45M Series B to commercialize multimodal models

NebulaAI announced Nebula Studio today, a unified platform for training, fine-tuning, and deploying multimodal models that combine vision, language, and temporal data. Studio bundles dataset management, model orchestration, and a low-code inference UI aimed at product teams rather than just research labs.
Alongside the product launch NebulaAI closed a $45 million Series B led by Summit Ventures, with participation from Aperture Capital and Gravity Ventures. The company says proceeds will accelerate pre-built connectors for medical imaging, retail cataloging, and robotic perception.
Early customers include a major European retailer and a robotics logistics startup piloting real-time visual understanding. NebulaAI is positioning Studio as an alternative to fragmented toolchains that force enterprises to stitch together multiple vendors for data labeling, training, and deployment.
In interviews NebulaAI emphasized compliance features — on-premises training, audit trails, and data lineage — as key selling points for regulated industries. The startup plans a staged rollout with general availability targeted for Q4 2026.
