NebulaArcade Raises $40M to Launch Cloud-Native Indie Game Platform with Revenue-Sharing Model

The platform allows players to stream indie titles instantly from the cloud without downloads while developers can deploy builds and run experiments with low friction. NebulaArcade includes discoverability features like curated playlists, developer spotlights, and deep-linking into single-level previews.

Developers pay low hosting fees and keep a larger share of revenue compared to traditional storefronts, with optional promotion packages for visibility. The platform also integrates community tools like mod hubs and collaborative live streaming widgets so creators can engage audiences directly.

The $40 million investment will extend server capacity for low-latency streaming, build SDKs for cross-platform input translation, and grow marketing to attract indie catalogs. NebulaArcade plans a closed onboarding program for select studios starting this summer.
