NebulaPlay Unveils Cloud Gaming Dock and Raises $70M to Expand Edge Infrastructure
Gaming · 6 min read
Cloud gaming company NebulaPlay announced Nebula Dock, a consumer hardware device that promises consistent sub-20ms latency when paired with their new regional edge infrastructure. The launch coincides with a $70 million growth round led by Atlas Growth Partners aimed at expanding edge presence across North America and Europe.
The Dock is a small fanless unit that connects to TVs and uses a 10Gbps uplink to route sessions to the nearest Nebula node. The product targets hardcore gamers who want console-quality responsiveness without owning high-end PCs, and NebulaPlay claims compatibility with major controllers and upscaling tech that reduces bandwidth costs.
Investors cite growing demand for differentiated cloud gameplay as a primary driver. NebulaPlay will begin preorder shipments in September 2026, with subscriptions that bundle GPU time and exclusive game access for early adopters.
