NebulaShift raises $75M to build low-latency gaming cloud and debuts WarpStack

NebulaShift’s WarpStack combines optimized network routing, hardware-accelerated video codecs, and a new input prioritization layer that reduces perceived lag for competitive and cooperative play. The platform supports Unreal Engine and Unity pipelines and includes SDKs for game studios to integrate dynamic quality scaling and predictive frame rendering.

The $75 million financing was led by Horizon Ventures, with participation from PlayFund and several strategic gaming publishers. NebulaShift said the funds will expand their global points-of-presence, secure partnerships with console accessory makers, and pilot an early-access program with independent studios.

WarpStack’s first public demo showcased streamed sessions on a lightweight AR headset and a cloud-connected handheld prototype. Developers praised the stack’s bandwidth-aware encoders and deterministic input sampling, which the company says will unlock new multiplayer experiences on mobile and AR platforms.
