Neon Arcade secures $40M to launch a cloud-native SDK for live in-game events
Gaming · 4 min read
Neon Arcade closed a $40 million funding round aimed at building a cloud-native SDK that orchestrates live in-game events and synchronized experiences. The technology focuses on event-driven narrative hooks, globally synchronized cinematics, and on-the-fly content rollouts without patching clients.
The SDK also provides analytics for how live events drive player behavior and monetization, along with tooling for safe rollouts and rollback capabilities. Neon Arcade is positioning the product for mid-size studios that want live-service engagement mechanics but lack the engineering bandwidth to build their own infrastructure.
Investors include several strategic partners from the publishing world who will offer joint go-to-market opportunities. Neon Arcade plans to pilot the SDK with a handful of partner titles before a wider launch later this year.
