Row taxonomy was revised to support nested subgenres, which makes the explore tab richer but also deeper. The app uses sticky headers and quick-jump chips to help users traverse long lists, addressing previous complaints about endless vertical scrolling.

The teardown highlights tension between surfacing breadth versus surfacing what will actually convert to play. Netflix opts for a layered exploration model: broad discovery at the top, personalized curation further down, and immediate resume options anchored at the screen bottom.
