NeuralCanvas raises $120M to commercialize real-time AI-assisted UI prototyping

NeuralCanvas announced a $120 million Series B led by Index Ventures with participation from Sequoia Growth and a consortium of design-focused angel investors. The round will fund product expansion and enterprise integration features for its AI-assisted UI prototyping platform, which has seen strong traction among product teams at mid-size SaaS companies.

The product turns user sketches or wireframes into fully interactive, exportable prototypes in real time, using a mix of generative layout models and component libraries trained on public design systems. The company says the platform reduces prototype creation time by up to 70% and offers a collaborative canvas where designers and PMs can iterate together with AI suggestions.

NeuralCanvas plans to use the funding to launch an enterprise-grade version with single sign-on, design system governance, and a plugin ecosystem. The startup is also investing in safety and IP controls to manage derivative work concerns as usage grows among larger customers.
