NeuroKey’s dev kit includes a lightweight, dry-electrode headband, SDKs for Unity and Python, and a low-latency inference pipeline for motor imagery and simple command decoding. The company aims to broaden access for developers building assistive tech, AR/VR inputs, and creative tools that respond to cognitive states.
The $55 million Series A was led by Horizon Partners with strategic investments from a major AR headset maker and a medical device fund. NeuroKey plans to use the capital to qualify manufacturing partners, secure medical-grade supply chains, and expand regulatory efforts in key markets.
Developers praised the SDK’s low setup friction and the company’s developer portal. NeuroKey stressed that the initial kit is intended for research and prototyping; they are pursuing medical-clearance pathways for future clinical products.
