NeuronFrame raises $25M Series A for on-device ML for generative prototyping

The company will use the funding to optimize models for CPU and mobile GPU execution so designers can run AI features in offline and low-bandwidth environments. NeuronFrame's tech focuses on layout suggestions, component synthesis and microinteraction generation.

On-device inference enables instant suggestions and reduces roundtrips to cloud APIs, which is particularly attractive for teams working with sensitive product concepts or in regulated industries. The startup announced partnerships with two major design tool vendors to embed NeuronFrame's SDK.

Products planned include a predictive layout assistant that proposes responsive variants and a microinteraction sketch engine that outputs annotated animation timelines. The models are quantized and optimized for low memory overhead.

Investors said NeuronFrame's blend of research and pragmatic engineering makes it a strong contender in the race to bring generative features closer to the designer’s local workflow.
