NexaAI raises $120M and launches LumaStudio, a text-to-video editor for marketing teams

NexaAI today revealed a $120 million Series B round and the commercial launch of LumaStudio, a cloud-native text-to-video editor designed specifically for marketing organizations. The funding round was led by Meridian Ventures with participation from existing investors and strategic media partners, and the company said proceeds will support scaling enterprise integrations and content moderation tools.
LumaStudio converts scripts, product assets, and brand guidelines into short-form video drafts using a mix of generative video models, automated cut selection, and style templates. The product emphasizes predictable brand output: teams can lock color palettes, logo placement, and voiceover style, while editors can fine-tune sequences in a timeline-based interface familiar to existing video professionals.
NexaAI positions LumaStudio against generalist generative video tools by focusing on throughput and compliance: API-first integrations with DAMs, analytics for campaign performance, and an audit log for regulatory-heavy industries. The company expects to roll out an on-prem option and expanded language support in the next two quarters, funded by the new round.
