Nimble Motion launches Gesture Studio: a low-code motion prototyping tool and bags $12M seed
Design · 3 min read
Gesture Studio provides a timeline-based editor with physics presets, easing curves, and a live preview that exports CSS and motion tokens. It supports collaborative playback and versioning so teams can align on timing and intent before engineering handoff.
The $12 million seed round, led by Atelier Ventures, will support integrations with design ecosystems, cloud collaboration features, and accessibility tooling to simulate reduced-motion preferences. Nimble Motion plans to add a library of vetted motion patterns used by large product teams.
Early users said Gesture Studio reduced iteration time on micro-interactions and improved cross-disciplinary clarity between designers and engineers. Nimble Motion’s founder emphasized the product’s focus on expressive, accessible motion that scales across platforms.
