NimblePay raises $28M to launch a privacy-first payments UX for creators

NimblePay announced a $28 million Series A to build a payments UX platform for creators that emphasizes minimal data collection and simple, repeatable conversion flows. The product supports one-click tips, time-limited paywalls, and bundled subscriptions with deferred billing options.

The startup focuses on reducing checkout friction by using device-bound credentials and tokenized identity to avoid re-entering payment details. NimblePay also offers configurable privacy defaults and dashboards that aggregate revenue without exposing granular user PII to creators.

Early adopters—podcasters and newsletter publishers—reported higher conversion rates and fewer chargebacks after adopting NimblePay. The company will expand fraud detection and dispute resolution services to help creators scale safely.

Funds will be used to build deeper integrations with content platforms, improve international payment rails, and hire compliance staff to navigate varying regional payment regulations.
