Nimbus Health Raises $95M to Launch CareCanvas, a Clinical UX Platform Powered by AI

Nimbus Health announced a $95 million Series C to bring CareCanvas to hospitals and large healthcare systems. CareCanvas combines modular clinical UI components, AI-assisted chart summarization, and embedded clinical decision support aimed at reducing cognitive load for care teams.

The platform focuses on interoperability, integrating with major EHR systems and providing a low-code editor for clinical informaticists to design workflow-specific screens. AI assists with note generation, medication reconciliation, and risk scoring while enforcing audit trails for compliance.

Nimbus will use the funds to pursue certifications, build out patient safety monitoring, and expand clinical partnerships to validate outcomes. The company stresses clinician-led design and plans a phased rollout starting with pilot departments in Q1 2027.
