Nimbus Labs Closes $12M Seed to Build Low-Code Robotics UI Platform
Tech · 4 min read
Nimbus Labs, a startup focused on reducing the complexity of operating industrial and service robots, announced a $12 million seed round led by Frontier Capital. The company’s offering includes a drag-and-drop UI builder, telemetry dashboards, and role-specific access controls for operators and managers.
Nimbus emphasizes safety and compliance, with a rules engine to define permitted robot states and an audit log to capture operator interventions. Early pilot programs in warehouses and hospitality show that teams without a software background can assemble operator interfaces and testing flows in hours rather than weeks.
The new capital will accelerate integrations with robotic middleware such as ROS2, industrial communication standards, and third-party fleet management tools. Nimbus also plans to expand its developer program and release a marketplace for prebuilt operator templates.
