Nimbus Labs announced a $100 million Series C led by Atlas Growth with participation from several sovereign cloud partners. The company is launching Nimbus Search, an AI assistant that performs contextual enterprise search and summarization while offering on-premises and encrypted vector storage to meet regulatory needs.
Nimbus emphasizes data governance: indexing policies, GDPR and HIPAA support, query-level access controls, and audit trails. Their hybrid deployment model allows sensitive data to remain on-prem or in customer-controlled clouds while models run either locally or in trusted enclaves.
Customers in finance and healthcare have begun pilot deployments showing faster knowledge retrieval and fewer compliance hurdles. Nimbus will use capital to expand secure runtime features, increase prebuilt connector coverage, and scale enterprise sales operations.
