NimbusAI launches real-time code review assistant and closes $25M seed round

NimbusAI’s new assistant listens to live code edits and provides instant review feedback, flagging security issues, performance anti-patterns, and suggested refactorings. It integrates with popular IDEs and CI systems to offer inline comments, suggested commits, and an approval dashboard for maintainers.

The startup also announced a $25 million seed round led by Forge Capital with participation from dev-focused angels and an unnamed cloud provider. NimbusAI says the funds will accelerate model improvements for enterprise-scale repositories and expand integrations with enterprise code hosts.

Early enterprise customers report a 30–50% reduction in average review time during pilot programs, with maintainers appreciating the contextual rollbacks and migration suggestions NimbusAI surfaces. The company plans to launch a hosted governance console and on-premises deployment for regulated industries later this year.
