NimbusAI Raises $75M to Launch Real-Time Video Summarization API

NimbusAI announced a $75 million Series B led by Horizon Catalyst, with participation from MediaVentures and existing backers. The company said funds will accelerate product development, global infrastructure, and a new enterprise sales team focused on media and legal customers.
Alongside the funding, NimbusAI unveiled NimbusClipper, a real-time video summarization API that generates 30–60 second context-aware summaries and timecoded highlights. The API supports multi-language transcripts, speaker diarization, and integrates with popular video platforms via webhooks and an SDK.
NimbusAI positions the product as a newsroom and compliance tool: editors can distill long footage into shareable clips, while legal teams can rapidly surface relevant segments. The company will open a private beta on August 5 and plans a public launch in Q4 with tiered pricing that includes per-minute processing and enterprise SLAs.
