NodeMuse Launches Live AI Pair Designer Plugin for Figma, Raises $6M Seed
AI · 4 min read
NodeMuse released a live ‘pair designer’ plugin that operates inside Figma and allows designers to co-edit with a contextual AI assistant. Unlike one-off generation tools, NodeMuse maintains conversation history, suggests alternate micro-interactions, and offers incremental updates that preserve the designer’s intent.
The company also closed a $6 million seed round led by Neon Capital and followed by several design-focused angel investors. NodeMuse says the funding will be used to expand its human-in-the-loop annotators and to refine model behavior to avoid destructive automated edits that break design systems.
Early beta testers praised the plugin for proposing small, atomic changes—improving form flows and copy alternatives—rather than wholesale screen replacements. NodeMuse plans to add collaboration analytics so teams can see when AI suggestions are accepted, modified, or reverted, helping organizations govern AI usage in product workflows.
