Notion adds Adaptive Templates powered by fine-tuned models for design ops

Adaptive Templates analyze project pages, Figma embeds, and historical release notes to recommend populated templates tailored to the project’s scope. For example, a template for a mobile redesign will get pre-filled user-research sections and suggested metrics for A/B testing.
Notion allows teams to bring their own fine-tunes so templates can adhere to company tone and process. The company highlighted privacy controls that let enterprises keep template fine-tunes private and run evaluations on-premises for compliance-sensitive teams.
Design leaders who tested the beta reported a drop in meeting prep time and more consistent artifact quality. However, some teams said they needed to add governance rules to avoid over-reliance on automated copy and to preserve discipline around accessibility and test planning.
