Notion adds an AI design assistant that converts outlines into polished page templates

Users can paste a meeting outline or product brief and the assistant will generate a Notion page with sections, task checklists, and visual callouts that follow a selected style guide. The assistant suggests illustrations, sample tables, and inline examples to help teams standardize handoffs.

Notion also added a template audit feature that highlights inconsistencies across shared pages and recommends unifying changes. The company focused on keeping generated structures editable and lightweight so teams can iterate without vendor lock-in.

Product teams reported that the assistant reduced setup time for new projects and improved the clarity of written specs. Notion plans to add interactivity to templates so generators can link to automated issue creation and roadmap items.
