Notion AI adds 'Design System Composer' for regenerative component documentation

Design System Composer ingests design libraries, token files, and even screenshots to produce consistent, searchable component documentation and usage examples inside Notion.

When designers update tokens or component examples, the Composer suggests doc updates and surface-level migration guides to help teams roll changes out safely.

Notion has added enterprise controls to limit what gets auto-updated and keeps an audit trail of suggested and applied changes to maintain governance over design systems.
