Notion AI Launches Design Blocks: Embed Live AI Prototypes in Docs

Notion's new Design Blocks let teams sketch interactive prototypes using integrated AI assistants that generate flows, microcopy, and simple interactions. Designers can iterate within a Notion page and share a live preview link with stakeholders for asynchronous feedback.

The assistant can interpret component descriptions and generate clickable prototypes, wireframes, and annotated flows that remain editable. It also integrates with Figma and Framer exports so designers can import richer assets when needed.

Notion emphasized collaboration: comments and version history are preserved, and the Design Block can export both a static snapshot and a JSON representation of the prototype structure for engineering handoff. The capability is rolling out to paid workspaces this month.
