Notion AI updates Writing Assistant with UX Microcopy presets

The Writing Assistant now includes a library of microcopy presets for CTAs, error states, tooltips, and empty states, with tone controls (friendly, concise, formal) and an accessibility-aware mode. Designers can apply a preset to selected text or ask Notion AI to suggest improvements for entire onboarding sequences.

Notion also introduced a microcopy diff view that compares alternate suggested versions side-by-side with annotations about length, reading grade, and potential localization impact. Teams can publish chosen variants to a shared content library with tagging and approval workflows.

The company highlights that the feature reduces back-and-forth between product and content teams by centralizing microcopy generation and review. Admins can lock brand voice and phrase libraries, ensuring generated suggestions adhere to style guidelines.
