Notion introduces Design Blocks with AI-driven content-to-layout conversion

Design Blocks lets product managers and designers write a short brief—goals, audience, CTA—and receive a structured, responsive Notion page with visual hierarchy, recommended images, and component-like blocks. The AI picks typography scales and spacing that match the workspace theme.

Blocks include editable mock screens, annotated specs, and export links to design tool stubs for rapid handoffs. The generated pages are optimized for collaboration, with suggested comment prompts and review checklists baked in.

Notion added controls to tune the level of fidelity, from low-fi wireframes to high-fidelity mockups, and allows teams to lock brand elements to prevent accidental changes. Early users say Design Blocks reduced the time to create clear design specs for stakeholders.
