NovaDeck raises $9M to ship a responsive component marketplace for design systems

NovaDeck announced a $9 million seed led by Initialized Capital and launched a marketplace offering audited, responsive UI components that sync design tokens across design and code. The marketplace aims to reduce duplication and accelerate implementation of accessible, themeable components.
Components are shipped with Figma variants, documentation, and production-ready React/Vue/Svelte packages. NovaDeck includes a verification badge for components that meet accessibility and performance standards.
The company will use funds to expand the component catalog, onboard maintainers, and build integrations for internal design systems. Early customers include fintech and health startups that need consistent, audit-ready UI across teams.
Design operations leads say a vetted marketplace can reduce inconsistencies and speed handoffs, but warn about governance around updates and breaking changes. NovaDeck plans to incorporate versioning tools to help teams manage upgrades safely.
