NovaPlay raised $55 million to deliver NovaUI Runtime, a platform that decouples game UI from engine-specific constraints and allows designers to push safe UI updates across platforms. Investors include both gaming and tooling funds.
The runtime supports hot-reloadable UI fragments, live previews, and designer-driven A/B toggles. It also includes telemetry hooks optimized for UI-centric metrics like menu abandonment, control discoverability, and HUD readability.
Studio partners report shorter iteration cycles and reduced QA friction when updating UI across console, PC, and mobile builds. NovaPlay will invest in engine adapters and a visual designer interface for non-technical creatives.
