NVIDIA unveils NeMo Design: photoreal UI rendering and layout optimization toolkit
Tech · 5 min read
NeMo Design combines photorealistic rendering engines with layout-aware models that predict visual hierarchy and user attention. Designers can generate high-fidelity mockups of in-app UIs under different lighting and device conditions, helping evaluate legibility and depth effects.
The toolkit also offers layout optimization to suggest spacing, emphasis, and contrast adjustments that improve perceived clarity and engagement metrics. NVIDIA optimized the models for GPU inference and provided distilled versions for cloud and edge deployment.
Target users include product teams building visually rich experiences—games, AR apps, and apps with complex UIs. NVIDIA partnered with several design studios for early access, gathering feedback on integrating model-driven render previews into existing design and QA workflows.
