NVIDIA unveils OmniStudio — a GPU-accelerated design foundation model
Tech · 6 min read
OmniStudio leverages large vision-language backbones and custom CUDA kernels to deliver interactive design generation at low latency. The model supports asset generation, layout proposals, and shader-aware previews intended for motion and microinteraction design.
NVIDIA is offering OmniStudio as part of a suite that includes an editor plugin, SDKs for Unity and Unreal, and integration examples for Figma and Adobe. The focus is on high-fidelity previews that match runtime shaders and lighting, which helps game and AR/VR designers iterate faster.
The company highlights enterprise licensing and a marketplace of pre-built models tuned for verticals like automotive UX and industrial controls. NVIDIA is also enabling mixed-precision inference to reduce cloud costs and has documentation for running a trimmed-down version on edge GPUs.
