PhysX-RX provides deterministic simulation across server and client, high-fidelity soft-body dynamics, and both CPU- and GPU-accelerated solvers. Omega Engine emphasized network interpolation primitives that reduce desyncs in fast-paced multiplayer scenarios and a profiling suite for tuning simulation costs.
The $18 million round led by Crestline Capital will expand engineering and enhance platform integrations with major engines and cloud providers. Omega Engine is offering tiered licensing: an indie-friendly free tier and enterprise packages with SLA-backed support and cloud-hosted authoritative simulation.
Studios testing PhysX-RX reported more predictable rollback behaviors and smoother cross-platform physics experiences. Omega Engine plans to add stochastic weather simulators and data-driven material models to broaden use cases beyond gaming into vehicle simulation and AR training.
