Open consortium publishes DesignBench-2026 dataset and leaderboard for layout and Figma tasks

DesignBench-2026 includes over 200,000 annotated design artifacts spanning e-commerce, admin panels, and mobile apps, paired with developer-targeted exports and user-validated accessibility labels. The benchmark focuses on layout hierarchy accuracy, token preservation, and semantic fidelity when transforming designs to code.

The consortium also launched a leaderboard and standardized metrics for round-trip fidelity (design -> code -> design) and for measuring harmful automated suggestions. They published baseline models and toolkits to help practitioners evaluate improvements and to avoid overfitting to narrow heuristics.
