OrbitalUI raises $48M and launches remote UX testing labs

OrbitalUI raised $48 million in a Series B led by Andreessen Horowitz to expand its remote UX testing platform. The company introduced Orbital Labs, which gives product teams the ability to run moderated and unmoderated tests across simulated devices, accessibility settings, and network throttling scenarios.

Orbital Labs provides instrumented sessions with heatmaps, facial-engagement signals, and automated heuristics that flag common usability failures. OrbitalUI emphasized that the platform speeds up iteration cycles by delivering richer contextual data than traditional click-and-scroll tests.

The funding will support global lab expansion, deeper integrations with design and analytics stacks, and AI-assisted test scripting that automatically recommends study designs based on product goals.
