Palette Studio launches Palette Cloud and raises $15M seed to democratize color systems

Palette Studio launched Palette Cloud, which promises a single source of truth for color tokens, automated contrast auditing, and platform-specific exports (CSS variables, tokens JSON, iOS/swift, Android XML). The company says the product reduces token drift between design and code by syncing changes in real time with Figma plugins and Storybook integrations.

The seed round, led by Elevate Ventures with participation from PixelBridge and several design-focused angels, will fund product development and integrations. Palette Cloud includes a governance layer that allows teams to lock primary palettes while enabling feature teams to propose contextual variations that auto-validate for accessibility.

Palette Studio highlighted a design ops use case where a 200-person product organization reduced manual color QA by 70% during a brand refresh. The company plans to add contrast-aware theming for dynamic UI contexts and a CLI for build-time token checks later this year.
