PaletteAI Raises $9M and Ships Color Strategy SaaS for Brand Teams

PaletteAI's service analyzes brand assets, competitor palettes, and user demographics to produce palette options optimized for accessibility, emotional tone, and context (print vs. screen). The tool can auto-generate CSS tokens, export SCSS variables, and suggest contrast-safe hover and focus states.

For larger teams, PaletteAI offers a governance layer that locks primary palette choices while allowing scoped variations for campaigns or seasonal updates. The platform also includes A/B test suggestions to validate color changes against engagement metrics.

The $9 million Series A, led by Canvas Capital, will fund partnerships with enterprise design systems, accessibility labs, and extension development for design tools. PaletteAI plans to add video-coloring suggestions and extended brand-motion color guidelines later this year.
