PaletteOps announced a $16 million funding round to bring to market an automated design system auditing product that detects token mismatch, accessibility regressions, and component variance across platforms. The tool connects to design repositories, codebases, and deployment artifacts to provide a single source of truth.
Key capabilities include token lineage visualization, component parity checks between design and code, and a compliance dashboard that flags deviations and suggests remediation steps. PaletteOps also offers a 'system health' score that product teams can track in CI pipelines.
DesignOps teams find the audit automation helpful for scaling design systems across large organizations. PaletteOps' ability to trace a token's usage from a PSD or Figma frame into multiple codebases reduces the manual work required for governance and refactoring.
The company will roll out an enterprise catalog with SSO, role-based approvals, and scheduled audits. PaletteOps also plans deeper integrations with design tools and component libraries in early 2027.
