PaletteXR debuts low-code spatial design suite, raises $25M seed

PaletteXR's new platform offers drag-and-drop spatial canvases, versioned scene components, and a live preview that maps 2D design tokens into 3D interaction patterns. The suite integrates with Figma and Sketch imports and adds a library of responsive spatial components built for common headset UX patterns.

The startup also announced a $25 million seed led by DesignBridge, with angel participation from prominent XR product leads. Funds will go toward expanding collaborative features, performance tooling for headsets, and hiring in engineering and developer relations.

PaletteXR emphasizes designer ownership of spatial interfaces and promises a plugin that exports optimized packages for Unity and WebXR runtimes. Early access starts next month for enterprise customers, with a public beta slated for Q1 2027.
