PersonaSynth Announces SDK for Ethical Synthetic Voices, Raises $10M Seed
AI · 4 min read
PersonaSynth’s SDK allows teams to create synthetic voices from consented voice datasets and apply guardrails that preserve prosody without mimicking a single identifiable speaker. The platform focuses on expressivity control, phonetic tuning, and bias mitigation, enabling designers to prototype voices that align with brand personality and accessibility goals.
The $10 million seed was led by Lattice Fund and included several accessibility and content-ethics angel investors. PersonaSynth plans to use the funding to grow its compliance team, develop better consent flows, and certify voices for commercial use under its ethical licensing model.
Design teams testing the SDK praised the fine-grained control over intonation for onboarding flows and voice assistants, noting that the tool improves inclusivity by offering diverse, non-attributable voice options. PersonaSynth also announced pilot partnerships with two telehealth providers and a consumer device maker.
