Photoshop on the web now supports real-time collaboration, where multiple editors can work simultaneously on the same document with separate cursors, selection awareness, and a shared history timeline. Layer locking and role-based permissions help coordinate edits on complex files.
The web editor gained parity with several desktop-only tools, including advanced masking and non-destructive adjustment stacks. Adobe uses a differential sync engine to keep bandwidth low and to enable responsive editing on slower networks.
Creative Cloud versioning integrates with the new collaboration features so teams can branch and merge edits, comment on changes, and restore previous states. Adobe highlighted enterprise-ready compliance options and single sign-on support for business customers.
