PixelCraft raises $12M to launch a procedural UI generator for adaptive interfaces

PixelCraft released AdaptiveGrid, a product that produces responsive interface layouts driven by design constraints, accessibility rules, and predicted user interaction patterns. The generator outputs production-ready CSS, SwiftUI, and Jetpack Compose code.
The company closed a $12 million seed round led by North Ridge Ventures with participation from product-focused angels. The funds will support research into ergonomics-driven layout heuristics and deeper integrations with design systems in Figma and Adobe XD.
AdaptiveGrid aims to bridge the gap between UX intent and front-end implementation by letting designers specify high-level behaviors—like 'prioritize primary actions on small screens'—and having the system create accessible, consistent layouts across breakpoints.
PixelCraft emphasizes transparent decision-making: the tool annotates why it chose spacing, hierarchy, and component scale, allowing designers to tweak rules rather than start from scratch. Designers who tested the beta reported faster handoffs and fewer front-end iterations.
