PixelForge Launches Collaborative Design Editor with Live AI Critique

PixelForge’s new Collaborative Canvas includes multi-user editing, granular version history, and an AI Critic that highlights issues like contrast failures, grid misalignment, and ambiguous microcopy. The Critic can be toggled per-project and provides suggested remediations rather than hard fixes.

The startup also announced a $10 million seed round led by StudioCapital, with angel participation from senior design leaders at major tech companies. Funds will be used for hiring on ML and UX teams, improving accessibility models, and rolling out integrations with design systems and Figma imports.

PixelForge CEO Aarti Shah emphasized workflow fit: “Designers don’t want an automated babysitter — they want intelligent feedback loops that make collaboration faster and more inclusive.” The company is offering free access for small teams and discounted pricing for educational institutions.
