PixelForge Launches SpatialCanvas, a 3D Prototyping Tool for Mixed-Reality UX
Design · 4 min read
PixelForge’s SpatialCanvas debuts with an interface familiar to 2D designers but optimized for spatial layouts, anchoring, and physics-driven interactions. It includes preset interaction patterns, spatial typography controls, and a library of AR-ready UI components.
Unlike heavy CAD tools, SpatialCanvas focuses on speed: designers can sketch in 2D, hit a convert-to-3D button, and immediately test interactions using a companion mobile preview app. The product also supports realtime collaboration so multiple designers can operate in the same scene and leave contextual comments.
PixelForge is offering a freemium tier and early access to enterprise features like multi-user sessions with role-based permissions and export to Unity or USDZ. Agency and hardware partners will get SDK access later this year to embed SpatialCanvas previews into device testing workflows.
