PixelForge launches Studio One: a desktop GPU optimized for creative apps and secures $95M
Tech · 5 min read
Studio One is built with fixed-function units for denoising, viewport compositing, and accelerated topology editing, promising lower latency in interactive creative tools. PixelForge partnered with leading DCC vendors to provide optimized drivers and plugin support out of the box, targeting post-production houses and independent studios.
The $95 million financing was led by Forge Capital and includes strategic silicon and workstation manufacturers. Funds will scale production, increase driver engineering headcount, and establish direct partnerships with workstation OEMs to deliver validated build-configurations for studios.
Early adopters lauded the GPU’s stability and deterministic performance under heavy scene loads, with particular praise for the real-time denoise pipeline. PixelForge plans to expand the Studio line to laptops and cloud-render instances next year.
