PixelForge Launches VectorStudio: A Collaborative Vector Editor Built for Teams

VectorStudio introduces live collaboration, versioned libraries, and component-level permissions to vector graphics editing. PixelForge's pitch is that teams need shared, composable assets with strict provenance rather than more granular drawing tools.

The launch includes importers for Adobe Illustrator files and a migration assistant for design systems, as well as an API for linking symbol updates to CI pipelines. Early adopters praised the real-time library updates and said it reduced cross-team duplication.

PixelForge said revenue will come from user seats and an enterprise storage tier that supports on-prem object storage. The company also announced a designer-focused plugin marketplace that opens next quarter to third-party contributors.
