PixelForge raises $28M to build collaborative generative design suite for product teams

PixelForge, a startup that combines parametric CAD and generative AI, announced a $28 million Series A led by Index Ventures. The platform lets designers sketch on a shared canvas and receive geometry proposals optimized for manufacturability, weight, and cost. PixelForge emphasizes human-in-the-loop control, allowing designers to nudge constraints and see real-time updates to geometry and material estimates.

The new funding will support deeper integrations with major CAD ecosystems, expanded simulation capabilities, and a ramp in sales to hardware companies and consumer brands. PixelForge also launched a beta of a collaborative review feature that records design iteration histories and decisions, aiming to reduce back-and-forth during product sign-off.

Early adopters in consumer electronics and furniture design praise the way PixelForge accelerates concept exploration while keeping engineers and industrial designers aligned. The company plans a public launch later this year with pricing tiers for small studios and enterprise teams.
